Brad Racino is the managing editor of New York Focus. He was previously a managing producer at Syracuse.com; editor and publisher for NY Cannabis Insider; and a director and senior investigative reporter at inewsource in San Diego.

Racino's journalism has earned more than 100 awards, including two national medals from Investigative Reporters and Editors, two national Edward R. Murrow awards, two Golden Mike Awards, a Meyer "Mike" Berger award from Columbia Journalism School, the Sol Price Award for Responsible Journalism, a national Emmy nomination, and a 2019 "Body of Work" award. He was named one of 10 "Emerging Leaders" in US nonprofit journalism by The Institute for Nonprofit News in 2017 and is currently a board member of the New York Coalition for Open Government.
