Joseph Neff is an investigative reporter for The Marshall Project who previously worked at The News & Observer of Raleigh, North Carolina, and the Associated Press. He was a Pulitzer finalist and has won awards including the Goldsmith Prize, the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi, and others.
